Darrell Roger Crumley, age 73, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019 at his home in Franklin surrounded by family. He was born in Newport, TN on February 23, 1946 to the late Donald Crumley and Aline Belcher Crumley. On November 23, 1965 Darrell was inducted into the United States Army.

He was honorably discharged on November 22, 1967. During his time spent in the Army, Darrell was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and was labeled as a Sharpshooter. Darrell was strong in his faith and was member of Franklin Untied Methodist Church.

The memorial service celebrating Darrell’s life is Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the sanctuary of Franklin United Methodist Church, 314 Main Street, in Franklin with Dr. Rev. Jim Ellison and Rev. Brett Matthews officiating.

The family will greet friends following the service at the church. Darrell is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Daniel Crumley; daughters, Cindy Langley and her husband Brandon, Amanda Crumley and grandson, Dylan Langley and his wife Alyssa. He is also survived by numerous family members in Tennessee as well as extended family in Georgia.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Darrell’s name to Franklin Untied Methodist Church, 314 Main Street, Franklin, GA 30217. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www. mckoon.com.
