Obituary for David Homan David Walter Homan, age 58, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on July 21, 2018. Loving father, grandfather, brother and son, he is preceded in death by his mother; Dorothy Homan. He is survived by his father; Marvin Walter Homan, sister; Jane Parrott, twin sons; Christopher David and Kevin Tyler Homan, daughter; Leah Michelle Gillis, his love; Joy Moates and their loving families.

David was a graduate of Worthington High School and a third-generation graduate of The Ohio State University. He was a man of many passions, none more so than his family. His love for travel included family vacations to Seattle, Vancouver, Maine, Boston and Key West.

He was a diehard fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed to run, golf, play tennis and spend time at the beach. He was an avid reader, music buff and his sense of humor and wit was contagious.

Family and friends will be received for visiting hours at Rutherford Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High St, Worthington, Ohio on Saturday, July 28 from 4pm-6pm, with a memorial service to follow at 6pm. Because of David’s love for animals, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in his memory to the non-profit, Pittie Paw Rescue and mailed to 1045 S Remington Rd Bexley, OH 43209.
