Obituary for David J. Sabol David J. Sabol, age 77, passed away on November 27, 2018. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Roberts). Loving father of John (Laura) and Ed (Beth).

Proud grandfather of Sydney, Charlie and Kalli. David was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Utica Lions for 40yrs. He was also a 4th degree knight in the Knights of Columbus where he served as treasure for 3yrs at St. Therese Lisieux.

He was also active in the church as a lector, eucharist minister and sang in the choir. David loved golfing, boating, dogs, feeding the birds, helping others in need, but most of all he loved his family. Especially when it came to adventures with his grandchildren.

The “Papa Adventures” will be missed dearly by his granddaughters. Visitation will take place at the Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Road (3 Blks E. of Van Dyke) Utica, on Friday (November 30th) from 1pm – 9pm with Knights of Columbus service at 6pm.

Funeral service will take place Saturday at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 48115 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Charter Township, MI 48315. He will lie instate at 9:00am until the time of Mass at 10am. Family request donations be made to the St. Louis Center Guanella Village Building Fund 895 Old US 12 Chelsea, MI 48118 or Penrickton Center for Blind Children 26530 Eureka Rd.
