David L. Brown March 2, 1969 – October 1, 2018 David L. Brown, 49, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at 7:09 am in Franciscan Health – Michigan City, Michigan City, IN. David was born March 2, 1969 at LaPorte Hospital. David was the son of the late James W. Brown and Linda (Ben) Mickevicius and step father Thomas A. Seibert.

He was a 1987 graduate of LaPorte High School and attended Purdue University Northwest. He was a long time resident of Michigan City, IN and the former owner of M.A.B. Technologies. David was the proud father of three sons, Blake J. Brown, Andrew S. Brown and Matthew D. Brown; three grandchildren, Brayden C. Biggs, Tristan M. Brown and Elijah L. Brown; sister, Jamie S. (Jay) Slutzkin; two nephews, Garrett Kessler and Samuel Slutzkin; niece, Madison Kessler; and his beloved cat, Jaguar.

David’s greatest pleasure was spending time with his sons. He enjoyed watching movies and camping with Blake, teaching Andrew to repair electronics and watching sports, especially the Bears and White Sox games with Matthew. He also spent time with his step dad, Tom Seibert, daily.

They enjoyed watching NASCAR races and their favorite T.V. shows. David had an infectious smile and will remembered for his kindness, wit and sense of humor. Friends are invited to celebrate David’s life with his family at 11:00 am Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 600 Franklin Square, Michigan City, IN with Rev.

Joe Czolgosz officiating. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Michiana Humane Society, 722 Indiana Highway 212, Michigan City, IN 46360.
