Life Story for David Wavada David Lee Wavada, 52, of Yukon, OK passed away on June 6th, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. David was born August 19th, 1965 in Clinton, OK to Robert (Bob) Eugene Wavada and Betty Jean Wavada (Morgan). David graduated from Yukon High School in 1983.

He was a lifelong resident of Yukon. David worked at Snyder’s in the early 80’s for several years. He moved on to work at Bob Howard PDC from the mid-90’s until his retirement in 2013.

David was a HUGE OU Sooners and Dallas Cowboys fan. If you had a question about sports, David was your go-to guy. David also loved to go play darts in a league.

His other hobby was hanging out with his family and picking on his nieces, Sabrina and Hailey. David was the type of guy to give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. He loved his family and his friends more than anything else.

David is survived by his sons Christopher Wavada and wife Alexandra of California, and Shane Wavada of Oklahoma. Granddaughter Zoey Wavada of Oklahoma Brothers Don Wavada and wife Kathy of Yukon, Jerry Wavada and wife Shannon of Yukon Nephew Justin Wavada and wife Brandi of Yukon, nieces Sabrina Wavada and fiance Jason Griffin of Yukon, and Hailey Wavada of Yukon. Great nephews Case and Coal Wavada of Yukon, and numerous cousins.

David is preceded in death by his parents, and his great nephew Jadyn Wavada. Visitation will be Sunday, June 10th from 4-6pm at Smith and Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK. Graveside service will be at Hazel Dell cemetery Monday June 11th at 1:00 pm in Minco, OK In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations toward David’s funeral expenses www.
