Life Story for Liliana Poage (Anselmi) Liliana Poage entered Heaven’s gates on Monday, October 15, 2018. Liliana was the daughter of Alfredo and Maria Anselmi. She was born on June 18, 1937 in Cagli, Italy.

Lilana married Robert Poage and together they had two sons, Lenny Poage and David Poage. Liliana was a 50+ year resident of Yukon and worked for many years as a cook in the Yukon public school system. Many people from Yukon will remember saying hello to Mrs. Poage as they went through the food line.

Devoted to her Catholic faith, Liliana was a strong believer and held fast to her values. She was a longtime church member of both St. Joseph in Union City and St. John Nepomuk in Yukon. She enjoyed cooking for her family and different events, gardening, helping at the church, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Liliana is reunited in Heaven with her parents, husband Robert Poage, and sister Tina. Those waiting to see her again are her sons David Poage, and Lenny & his wife Tracie Poage; brother Vincenzo; sisters Marisa and Fredora; and grandchildren Cody, Bryce, and Sydney. In Lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made in Liliana’s honor to the St Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
