Obituary for David Leon Scott Mr. David Scott, age 89 of Mineola, passed away on Tuesday, November 20th, 2018 in Mineola. He was born on November 29th, 1928 in Wood County to the late Grover Cleveland Scott and Imma Wood Scott. He was a retired clerk with Union Pacific and a member of First Christian Church of Mineola.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister and one daughter Helen Tapley. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Scott of Mineola; son Walter Scott of New Braunsfel; grandsons, Jeffery Brooks of White Oak, Clay Brooks of Dallas and Daniel Tapley of Mineola. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 24th, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Beaty Funeral Home 5396 S. State Hwy.

37 Mineola, TX 75773. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Rick Son conducting.
