Obituary for Gloria Ann Harvell Gloria Harvell, age 79 of Mineola, passed away in her home, surrounded by her loving family, October 30, 2018. She was born on June 17th, 1939 in Temple, Texas to the late James Frank Harvell and Eula Faye Tutor. Gloria was known for her servants’ heart.

She was a loving and compassionate individual who always put others before herself. Gloria never met a stranger, she would even open her home to them, helping them get back on their feet. She was a woman of faith, she was also an ordained minister.

She truly loved sending out prayers for her friends and family and helping to lead them to the lord. As said by her son Bruce, “She was the backbone of the family”. Gloria adored her family, it was important to her that they all, loved and supported each other as she did for them.

The family get-togethers always put a smile her on face. She was everyone’s “Mama” and will truly be missed by many. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents.

She will be greatly missed by her son, Bruce Keys; daughters, Janet McKenzie and Billie Faye Melcer, her fiancé, Kevin Graves; brothers, Jerry Frank Harvell and Danny Halfaker, his wife Marsha; sisters, Becky Johnston, her husband Rob and Jeanna Halfaker; grandchildren, Tad and Christina, her husband Alan and six great-grandchildren, Darek, Kaylee, Jacolby, Naythen, Rusty, and Jaxon. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 2nd, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 5396 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 at Beaty Funeral Home 5396 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773 at 10:00 am. The service will be conducted by Joe Fauss and David Herndon.

Interment will follow at Flint Creek Cemetery in Gatesville, Texas, with Joshua Robinson, Jeremy Snelson, Rob Johnston, Darek Curts and Alan Webb serving as active pallbearers and her son Bruce Keys serving as an honorary pallbearer.
