She was born on November 7, 1926 in Pittsburg, Texas to the late Geslec Gay Johnson and Martha Euna Carpenter. She was preceded in death by one son, Elbert L. Quinn, one daughter, Shirley Gay Gillian, a grandson, Stephen Wallace, one brother, Hank Johnson and two sisters, Oxie Shreves and Nora Quinn.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 29 2018 at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494 at 10:00 am, Pastor Jimmy Davis conducting, interment will follow at Como Cemetery in Como, with Michael Wallace, Timothy Quinn, Tracey Quinn, Jason Quinn, Cody Quinn serving as pallbearers.
