Obituary for Joyce Dean Gray (Baker) Joyce Gray, age 77 of Quitman, passed away on Thursday, December 13th, 2018 in Tyler. She was born on September 15th, 1941 in Bailey, Texas to the late Kenneth Baker and Jewel Caplinger. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed caring for family.
She was a member of Hubbard Chapel Baptist Church and also apart of their Women’s Missionary Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Joe Gray, daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Billie Maricle, son-in-law, Steve Stepp and grandson, Chase Stepp. She is survived by, daughters, Kathy Mezzell and husband, Robert of Mineola, Janet Arrington and husband, David of Winnsboro, and Vicki Patton of Whitehouse; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-two great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 15th, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Hubbard Chapel Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 15th, 2018 at Hubbard Chapel Baptist Church at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Rick Ellington conducting.
Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery in Mineola, with grandsons, William Large, Justin Stepp, Chad Stepp, Mathew Spann, Tim Maricle and Chris Sims serving as pallbearers.
