Obituary for Mallon Elbert Dennis Jr Mr. Mallon E. Dennis, age 68 of Hawkins, passed away on Tuesday, January 8th, 2019 in Quitman. He was born on December 23rd, 1950 in Sweetwater, Texas to the late Mallon Dennis, Sr. and Julia Ann Ferguson Dennis.

He Served in the US Army and was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Connie Lou Schmidtsky. He is survived by his wife, Candy Dennis of Hawkins; daughters, Julia Dixon of Ft. Worth, Melody Crawley of Hawkins, Mecca Colwart of Walker, LA; son Joseph Dennis of North Carolina; brother, Bobby Pryor; sisters, Carolyn Jenning, Elizabeth Sanchz and Brenda Duffy, Nancy Pendergrass of North Carolina; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
