Obituary for Ken Fancher Print Mr. Kenneth Walter Fancher, age 82 of Mineola, passed away on Wednesday, January 30th, 2019 in Tyler. He was born on June 27th, 1936 in Rocky Ford, Colorado to the late Joseph Eugene Fancher and Ida Elizabeth Fancher. He was retired V.P. of Operations with AT&T and was a member of First Baptist Church of Mineola and the Mineola Masonic Lodge.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, son, David Rodney Fancher and son-in-law, Tommy Noah Tucker. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lanell Fancher of Mineola; sons, Darren Elliott Fancher and his wife Sonia of Tallahassee, Kirk Alan Fancher of Tyler; daughters, Kathleen Jane Tucker of Highland Village, Deborah Sue Rettedal and her husband Kerry of Denver, Christine Michelle Hill of Tyler, Marsha D’Laine Ivy and her husband Darrell of Flower Mound, Susan Denise Walker of Tyler, Amanda Jonell Davis and her husband, Brandon of Chesterfield; brother, Donald Eugene Fancher of Long Beach; 15 grandchildren, Jonathan Tucker, Miles Tucker, Dan Rettedal, Joe Rettedal, Amanda Rettedal, Kiersten Ivy, Kaden Ivy, Kennedy Ivy, Michael Sullivan, Taryn Sullivan, Elizabeth Fancher, Luke Fancher, Kirsten Davis, Caroline Davis and Harper Davis; six great grandchildren, Addison, Jaelyn, Jacobi, Aksel, Rylie and Brooke. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 4th, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at First Baptist Church – Mineola 204 N. Johnson St. Mineola, Texas 75773.

Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am with Dr. Mark Neeley conducting, Interment will be at Cedar Memorial Gardens in Mineola, with Kirk Fancher, Darren Fancher, Brandon Davis, Darrell Ivy, Kaden Ivy, Miles Tucker, Jonathan Tucker, Michael Sullivan, Joe Retttedal, and Luke Fancher serving as pallbearers.
