Obituary for Truett L. Huffstutler Truett Leon Huffstutler of Holly Lake Ranch, Texas passed away December 18, 2018 at the age 97. Family and personal faith in Jesus Christ were the cornerstones of his life. He graduated from Sunset High School and then served during World War II in the army.
While in the army he married the love of his life, Dorothy McCrary. He graduated from Southwestern Baptist Seminary and served at Memorial Baptist, Beverly Hills Baptist, Hillcrest Baptist and Colonial Hills Baptist Church. Truett loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ above all else.
He was loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a godly role model as a beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Truett was proceeded in death by his wife of 68 years, Dorothy Huffstutler and grandson Philip Huffstutler.
He is survived by his son, Truett Wayne Huffstutler (wife Kathy), daughter, Judy Vestal (husband Freddy); grandchildren, Scott Vestal (wife Robin), Todd Vestal (wife Tonya), Shelley Cadmus (husband Arthur), Zach Huffstutler; great grandchildren Garrett, Alexandra and Dalton Vestal,Colby and Addie Cadmus, and Reagan Huffstutler. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Truett and Dorothy Huffstutler Scholarship Fund care of Dallas Baptist University. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 22nd, 2018 at Holly Brook Baptist 3219 FM 2869 Hawkins, Texas 76765 at 1:00 pm, Rev.
