Obituary for Robert Daniel Speights Mr. Robert Daniel Speights, age 77 of Mineola, passed away on Monday, November 12th, 2018 in Tyler. He was born on November 7th, 1941 in Mineola to the late Henry Speights and Rosemary Francis Speights. He was a retired probation officer with Wood County and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Mineola.

He was a member of American Legion Post 296 and worked with the Mineola Youth Baseball Foundation for many years. He served on the Board of the Mineola Youth Park and was proud to coach the Bombers little league baseball team. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Speights of Mineola; son, Randall Speights and his wife Jennifer of Whitehouse; brother, Bill Speights of Mineola; sister, Kathryn Barlow of Mineola and four grandchildren, Presley Speights, Tyson Karlson, Kamryn Karlson and Drake Karlson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 15th, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 5396 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm with Dr. Mark Neeley conducting.

Interment will be at Cedar Memorial Gardens in Mineola, with Rodney Harris, John Speights, Garrett Speights serving as pallbearers. To send flowers to the family of Robert Daniel Speights, please visit our Heartfelt Sympathies Store.
