David Michael Steinert, age 57, of Naugatuck, CT, passed away October 8, 2018 in his home. He was born in Bridgeport to the late Uri Steinert and Frances (Champion) Fabrizi. He worked in construction for area companies including Julian Construction, Beard Concrete, New England Railroad, Buchanan Marine, Grillo Company and Burns Company.

He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Lou and Hilda Steinert and maternal grandfather John W. Champion. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother Barry Steinert; his maternal grandmother Mary Champion and his longtime girlfriend Lynn Shola and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be private. Arrangements in care of the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT.
