Obituary of David Mallory David J. Mallory, 72, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. A local resident all his life, David was born in Poughkeepsie on July 10, 1946 to the late Kenneth K. and the late Lucille Thomas Mallory. He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School and a member of the Beth El Church of God and Christ.

In 1983 he married Wilma Perez in Poughkeepsie and she predeceased him. David worked in security for Marist College. He enjoyed fishing, football and tennis.

He was a star running back in high school and his football jersey #44 was retired. He was an avid Giants fan and played semi pro with the Giants Team. David is survived by his children; David J. Mallory, II of Charlotte, NC, Jonathan Mallory of New Paltz, NY and his daughters Dareen Mallory and Shelleena Mallory of Brooklyn, NY.

Also surviving is his grandson Devante Mallory of Charlotte, NC, brother James Mallory and sisters Gloria Mallory and Darlene Mallory, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Wilma, David was predeceased by his first wife Dorothea Satcher and siblings Barbara Robinson, Janet, Kenneth and Russell Mallory. There are no calling hours and services are private and at the convenience of the Family.
