David’s Obituary David Ray McQueen, age 46 of Cumberland, KY, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 12, 2019, at the Hazard ARH. Born July 29, 1972, he was commonly known to his family and friends as “Day-Day” and “Moose” and was a former security guard and member of the Way of the Cross Church and also enjoyed attending the Cumberland Pentecostal Church. He is preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Coots McQueen.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Chevon N. Kemplin McQueen, of Cumberland; sons, Zachary and Justin McQueen, of Cumberland; father, Harrison McQueen, of Cumberland; sisters, Sandra (Rick) Cope of Benham and Patty (Jodie) Cornett of Terre Haute, IN; mother-in-law, Patricia (David) Huff of Totz; 2 nephews, Michael Cornett of Indiana and Ryan Cope of Benham; 2 nieces, Payton Cornett of Indiana and Elizabeth Cope of Benham; and a host of other family and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 16, 2019, in the Chapel of Tri City Funeral Home, 506 Holly Street, Benham, KY between 6 – 8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019, at 11 am with Reverend Rick Cope officiating.

Interment will follow in the Peaceful Acres Cemetery, Hiram, KY, with Mike Dudash, Eddie Early, Ryan Cope, David Shoupe, Brian Schubert and Jay Clay serving as pallbearers. You may leave online condolences for the family at www. tricityfuneralhome.com.
