Davy G Thomas passed away peacefully in the presence of her husband, Murchison Thomas, in Louisville Kentucky on Thursday January 10, 2019. Davy was the proud matriarch of her family and the business that she and Murchison built, Indi’s Fast Food Restaurant. Davy lived her life loving others.

She was the provider of joy, entertainment, and gifts to all of those who entered into her life. She was a faithful follower of Christ and a member of Northside Christian Church. Murchison and Davy shared an abundant, loving marriage for 49 years.

Davy enjoyed spending her days shopping and pampering with her dearest daughter, Indira Evanczyk (Dewaine Evanczyk). She had incredible love and pride for her grandsons, Alexander Evanczyk (Mary Evanczyk) and Dillon Evanczyk (Shelby Evanczyk). She found great joy in spending time with her great grandchildren, Kora Evanczyk (3), Emillia Evanczyk (2), and Leo Evanczyk (7mths).

Davy also leaves behind her siblings Naila Seow, Vin Satram (Anna Satram), Pepe Satram (Susan Satram), Omah Salgado (Jay Salgado), Leila Joseph (Egbert Joseph), and Ashie Satram (Saffina Satram). Davy was preceded in death by her mother, Sumintra Satram (Beharrysingh) and her father, Surujnath Satram; Her brothers, Krishna Satram, Vishnu Satram, Bisnath Satram, Arnold Satram, Shoy Satram, and Ramesh Satram; and her sister, Beetra Satram. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 1:00pm to 8:00pm in the Centrum at Northside Christian Church 4007 Charlestown Rd.

New Albany, IN 47150. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the church, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West to follow. Services entrusted to Ratterman Keenan Southwest Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road.
