Dawn Juehring, 86, of Silvis, passed away, Friday, March 1, 2019, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Christ United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA.

Dawn was born on August 23rd, 1932 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Daniel and Dorothy (Unger) Corey. She married Eugene Juehring, November 4, 1951 in Oxford Junction, IA. Dawn was a stay at home mom, and also loved discussing politics, calling into talk radio, and watching the Chicago Cubs.

Survivors include her daughters, Teri (Steve) Cooney, East Moline, Karen (Dave) Defrieze, Christiansburg, VA, Debbie (Bill) Juehring-Thompson, Bettendorf, IA, Diane (Mark) Thompson, Silvis, IL; daughter-in-law, Melissa Juehring, Lynn Center, IL; sister, Jackie Deak; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Danny Juehring, and brother Ronald Corey. Memories may be shared online by visiting esterdahl.com.
