Dean’s Obituary Dean Bachman Pierce passed away from a sudden illness at home on December 27. 2018. He is survived by his wife, Diane Pierce, son, Aaron Pierce, daughters, Megan Franklin, Sarah Pierce and Rachel Pierce, Son-in-law, Tyler Franklin and grandson Liam Franklin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Pierce, mother, Garnet Pierce and brother Don Pierce. Dean was an avid enthusiast of the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and sharing these adventures with his family and friends.

He loved spending time with his family and sharing stories of the past. Dean loved to meet new people and share with them his love of the outdoors and stories of his family. As a young adult, he spent several years in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the forestry department as a Park Ranger.

He retired as a wire drawer from National Standard in Niles, Michigan. He continued his career with Ford Automotive as a Service Department specialist. Dean and his family moved to Arizona from Michigan in 1996.

As a Father and Grandfather, he continued to enjoy adventures across the state of Arizona and Colorado and passed on his wisdom to his children and grandson. Private services will be held by the family.
