Myrna’s Obituary Myrna Mae Jolley Ashcraft was born on October 2, 1929, to Lionel and Edith Jolley in St. Johns, Arizona. She passed away on January 19, 2019 in Phoenix. Myrna grew up in St. Johns with her sister and two brothers.

After graduating from high school she settled in Holbrook and met a young cowboy named Grady Harold Ashcraft. They married and raised three children together. Harold passed away shortly before their anticipated retirement.

Myrna worked all of her adult life. She worked at the telephone company, a title company, the bank and the County Treasurer’s Office, among others. In her retirement she traveled all over the world with her friend and companion, Sam Basset.

Between trips she split her time between her homes in Holbrook and the Valley. Myrna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold, her brothers Orville and Frank, and her friend Sam. She is survived by her three children, Sharon, Michael (Donna), and Kenny; six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren; her sister, Delma Shreeve; her sister-in-law Dorothy Jolley, and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 on Friday, January 25th at the Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1127 Helen Ave, in Holbrook, where a visitation will begin one hour prior. Interment will follow in the Holbrook Cemetery.
