Jesse’s Obituary Jesse James Thomas was born on December 22, 1954 to James and Shirley Thomas. Jesse grew up in Harbor Creek, Pennsylvania and had a wonderful childhood hunting and fishing. He graduated from high school in 1972 then moved to Arizona.

That same year he met the love of his life, Charlotte and were married in 1973. In 1978 he moved his family to St. Johns where he started work at Salt River Project working as a metal fabricator for 33 years, and retired in 2009. Jesse’s greatest joys in his life was the times he spent hunting, fishing and experiencing the outdoors with is many family and friends.

He also loved watching his grandkids participate in sporting events such as football, basketball, wrestling and also hunting and fishing with them. Those who knew Jesse, know that he would give you the shirt right off his back, the last dollar in his wallet or help you in any way he could. He always had a smile on his face and brighten anyone’s day he was around.

His huge personality will be dearly missed by all his friends and family. Jesse is survived by his wife, Charlotte, his children, Jesse James,II, Ray (Kristy), James (Deanna), Amanda (David), grandchildren, Jesse James McCray Thomas, Lexi Thomas, Shylee Thomas, Chase Thomas, Hunter Thomas, James Thomas, Jr., Carson Thomas, Isaiah Jaurique and one great-granddaughter, Westlyn Tyler Thomas; his sister, Beverly Law. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Downtown Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in St. Johns, Arizona.
