OBITUARY Debbie Schmidt February 26, 1960 – December 22, 2018 Debbie D. Peacock Kitchens Schmidt, age 58 , passed away on December 22, 2018 surrounded by her loving family after a yearlong battle with ovarian cancer. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3969 Mercer University Drive, Macon, GA. Burial will follow at Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Gray GA with the Rev.

Debbie was born February 26, 1960 in Milledgeville, Georgia. She was raised in Jones County, Georgia. Debbie worked in physician billing and management throughout her life.

The last position she held before her illness was with Navicent Health as a Patient Account Representative Team Lead, in the Physician Billing and Support Services department. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter and dear friend to many. She was preceded in death by her mother Ruthie Walker Peacock.

She is survived by, loving husband and care giver Arthur (“Bubber”) Schmidt, son, Josh Kitchens (Steven) of Atlanta, father, Braxton Peacock, of Jones County, brother, Randy (Angie) Peacock, of Gray, nieces and nephews: Kyle (Shelby) Peacock, Kaley (Cameron) Thrasher, Cheyenne Hubbard, great niece, Evelyn Gray Thrasher. Beloved fur babies: Sergio, Sofia, Sabastian, Mag and Noel.
