Deborah’s Obituary On February 8, 2019, Debbie Garner of Aubrey, went to Heaven to be with our Lord after a courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer. Deborah Ann Garner was born August 14, 1953 in Nocona, TX to Noble and Pat (Luna) Lemons. She attended Aladdin Beauty College and was a hairdresser up until a short time ago.

She was a member of First Rock Fellowship and was an amazing testament of faith throughout her illness. She was very talented and had many hobbies. She often entered her photography pictures in contests around the area.

She also, sold her crocheted blankets, scarves, jewelry, wood signs, and cards at various local craft shows. Debbie is survived by her husband Richard; sons, Rick Howell and wife Gina, Rance Howell and wife Sandy, Roy Garner and wife Natalie, James Garner and wife Elizabeth. Seven grandchildren, Hannah, Hank, Haylee, Emma, Riley, Kiptyn and Declyn.

Brother, Bryan and wife Darlene; sisters, Carolyn Alexander and husband Chuck, and Annetta Reynolds and husband Roger. Mother-in-law, June Garner; brother-in-law, Jim Garner; sister-in-law, Ann Jones and husband Ed; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, James “Cotton” Garner.

The family will receive friends at Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey, Wednesday, February 13th from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 14th at 10:00am at First Rock Fellowship with Rev. Chris Walden officiating.

Burial will be at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery later that day. Pallbearers are Caleb Mendoza, Bodie Noles, Randall Liddell, Chaz Alexander, Cody Kirby, and Dustin Lemons. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to National Ovarian Cancer Coalition 3800 Maple Avenue, Suite 435 Dallas, TX 75219.
