OBITUARY Deborah Ann Jenkins January 30, 1950 – October 14, 2018 Deborah Ann Williams Jenkins passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018, at the age of 68. She was a native of Opelousas, LA and a long-time resident of Baton Rouge/Denham Springs, LA. Debbie’s love for the simple things in life such as arts, nature and animals, allowed her to always be giving without expectations.

Her true joy in life were her kids and grandchildren. Her love of cooking brought family and friends together, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Debbie’s strength came from her faith and allowed her to live a life filled with peace and love.

Debbie is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Barry Jenkins; son, Garic Jenkins and wife, Ashley; daughters, Heidi Hartzog and husband, Eric, and Carrie Walker and husband, Paul; grandchildren, Cullan Hartzog, Amelia, Sophia and William Walker, and Elliot Grace Jenkins; brothers, Rick and Jose Williams; sisters, Patricia Mara and Barbara Dellinger; and step mother, Lia Williams. Debbie is preceded in death by her father, Dr. A.E. Williams “Gato”; mother, Jane Garic McDaniel; and brother, David Williams. Visitation will be held at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 2025 Stuart Ave.
