Mrs. Deborah Janet Ferguson, age 65, of Cedartown, GA passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 in a Rome medical center. She was born in Cedartown, GA on August 25, 1953, a daughter of John Weddington and Elsie Mae Lindsey Weddington. Mrs. Ferguson had lived most of her life in Cedartown, was a graduate of Cedartown High School and had been employed at Petros for nearly thirty years.

Mrs. Ferguson was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed reading, shopping, watching movies and working puzzles. Mrs. Ferguson was preceded in death by her father, John Weddington; mother, Elsie Mae Cooper; step father, J.W. Hulsey; brother, Hank Weddington and sister, Sherry Turner.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Ferguson, Cedartown; sons: Jeremy (Heather) Ferguson and Christopher (Melissa Womack) Ferguson all of Cedartown; five grandchildren; and brother, Jeff Hulsey, Piedmont, AL. In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Ferguson will be cremated and the family will arrange for a memorial gathering at a later date. The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family of Mrs. Deborah Janet Ferguson.
