Obituary for Deborah Susan “Debbie” Teaney (Nichols) Print Deborah Susan “Debbie” Teaney, 65, of Lee’s Summit, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019. A visitation will be held Saturday, February 2nd, from 9-10am with a funeral service following at 10:00am, both at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Interment will follow at Brooking Cemetery in Raytown.

Debbie was born June 5, 1953, to John and Gerrie (Racey) Nichols in Kansas City, MO. She graduated in 1971, from Raytown High School and went on to work for 25 years as a Debit Card Administrator for Blue Ridge Bank & Trust. Debbie was also a long-time member of Crown Pointe Church Assembly of God.

She was a beloved sister and aunt and will be missed by her close-knit family. Debbie is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Jason Teaney. She is survived by her sisters, Terrie (Gene) Turner of Odessa, MO, and Sandy (Dan) Landau of KCMO; her nieces, Christina (Jeremy) Durrill of Odessa, MO, Jennifer Turner of Boliver, MO, Tracy (Jordan) Day of Omaha, NE, and Katie Jennens of Lee’s Summit, MO; her nephew, Christopher (Kellie) Jennens of Grain Valley, MO; as well as, 9 great nieces and nephews.
