Debra J. Moore, 61, of 112 Smith St., Cochranton, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018, at Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown. Debra was born in Franklin, on October 5, 1956, the only child of Cecil Baker and the late Phyllis (Scott) Baker. In 2001 Debra married Albert S. Moore; he survives.

Debra grew up in the Rocky Grove area and was a 1975 graduate of Rocky Gove High School. She became a very big advocate of the rare disease Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a genetic… Read More » tissue disorder, following her grandson’s diagnosis of the disease. At the age of 60 she decided to get her first tattoo which referenced the disease in order to promote public awareness of it.

Debra loved her family deeply and will be greatly missed. In addition to her husband Albert, Debra is survived by her father Cecil Baker of Sugar Lake, four children Curtis Johnson (Amy) of Kane, Chad Boye (Sarah) of Oil City, Tara Moore of Meadville, Christie Kightlinger (Tom) of Conneaut Lake and eight grandchildren. In addition to her mother, Debra was preceded in death by her toddler daughter Jackie Johnson.
