Homer Mack, Jr., 52, of 830 Penn Street, Meadville, passed away Friday, September 13, 2018, at Meadville Medical Center. Homer was born in Meadville, on September 1, 1966, a son of the late Homer and Agnes Dora (Moody) Mack, Sr. On July 22, 2013 Homer married Twila Young; she survives. In his earlier years, Homer had been employed as a custodial technician for the YMCA and Allegheny College.

In addition to his wife, Homer is survived by four children Thylasha Mack of Erie, Scott Young of Michigan, Stephanie Ritchie, Jennifer Brown both of Meadville, 17 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three sisters Carla Lofland of Baltimore, MD, Anna Mack of Meadville, Andrea Dennis (David) of Stafford, VA, three nieces, Dora, Chelsea, Akeisha, two nephews Shelton, David, Jr., mother in law Shirley O’Neil of Meadville, many great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Homer was preceded in death by a brother Otis Mack, paternal grandparents Joseph and Anna Mae Randall, and maternal grandmother Lou Moody. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, September 21, 2018, from 11-1 at St. John Missionary Full Gospel Baptist Church, 792 N. Main St., Meadville, where a Homecoming Service will be held at 1 PM with Pastor Markus McDaniel of United Faith Fellow Church, officiating. Homer will be laid to rest in Greendale Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. , 404 CHESTNUT ST. , MEADVILLE.
