John P. Catalano, 62, of Meadville, passed away Monday, November 26, 2018 at Wesbury United Methodist Community. Johnny was born in Meadville, on December 4, 1955, a son of the late Emilio “Amie” and Mary (Barno) Catalano. He was a member of St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church.

In 1976 Johnny became employed by Vallonia Industries where he worked for many years. He was a graduate of the former Blue Barn school under the Meadville Area Public Schools. He was an avid sports fan and loved participating in Special Olympics. He also enjoyed bowling for many years. Johnny touched the lives of many and will never be forgotten.

Johnny is survived by his brother James Catalano (Pamela) of Goshen, IN, a niece Kristen Senne (Bob) and their daughter Sophia, a nephew James Catalano (Kristin) and their children Braden and Riley. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 3-6 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. , 404 CHESTNUT ST.

, MEADVILLE, where a Scripture Service will be held at 5:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 1st, with Fr. Andrew Boyd, Parochial Vicar, officiating.

Johnny will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to ARC of Crawford County, 222 Chestnut Street, or St. Mary of Grace Church, 1085 Water St., both in Meadville, PA 16335. Share a memory or condolence at www.
