Obituary for Delia Casas Delia Casas, 83, a lifetime resident of Mercedes went to be with our Lord on Friday, September 28, 2018. She was born October 29, 1934 to Cirilo and Gertudes Trevino in Mercedes Texas. She is survived by her loving family: Guadalupe (Juana) Casas of Corpus Christi, Texas, Jose Casas of Donna Texas, Mariana Hudson of Alabama Aniston, Maria (Rene) Meza of Mercedes, Texas, Corina (Aroldo) Garcia of Mercedes Texas, Norma Casas of Weslaco Texas, Dionicio (Esperanza) Casas Jr. of Mercedes Texas, 12 grandchildren, 14 greatgrandchildren, brother: Jose (Juana) Villanueva of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Delia is preceded in death by her loving husband: Dionicio Casas, parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, daughter-in-law: Delia Casas, great-granddaughter: Adelyn Aldape. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 1:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, October 1, 2018. An 11:00a.m. chapel service will take place at Rudy Garza Chapel of Peace.

Interment will then follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Weslaco Texas. Pallbearers are: Marc Del Rio, Danny Casas, Paul Michael Meza, Jonathan Meza, Lee Reyes, Magdaleno Caranza. Honorary pallbearers are: Kason Del Rio, Layla Del Rio.
