Obituary for Roberto Rios Roberto Rios, 52, a lifetime resident of Mercedes Texas went to be with our Lord on Monday, October 15, 2018. He was born February 4, 1966 to Antonio and Lidia Sauceda Rios in Weslaco Texas. He is survived by his family: Sylvia M. Rios, Children: Lisa Marie Rios, Jason M. (Katrina) Valdez, Mother: Lidia Rios all of Mercedes Texas, Grandchildren: Kayla J. Valdez, Marcus Valdez, Ayden Valdez and numerous nieces and nephews, Brothers and Sisters: Raul (Anna) Rios, Gloria (Rogelio) Vasquez of La Feria Texas, Ramon (Sylvia) Rios of San Benito Texas, Rogelio (Sylvia) Rios of Mercedes Texas.

He is preceded in death by his father; Antonio Rios. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 10:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, October 19, 2018. We will depart Rudy Garza Chapel of Peace at 9:30a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment to follow at Mercedes Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
