Obituary for Delores J. Raney Delores J. Raney, age 62, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018, at Ransom Memorial Hospital, Ottawa, KS. She was born May 12, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Olan Ambrose and Bernice (Gilb) Ambrose. Delores was united in marriage to Alvin D. Raney on December 24, 2016 in Ottawa, KS.

He survives of the home. She is also survived by two brothers, Troy Ambrose, Kansas City, MO, and Olan Ambrose, Jr. and his wife, Linda, Kansas City, MO; and several nieces and nephews. Delores worked for Donohoe & Associates, a provider of medical supplies, for many years in various positions.

She was generous in life, she loved to help others and also animals. She had a spitfire personality and enjoyed target shooting. She was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Olan and Bernice; a twin sister, Debra Ambrose; and a brother, Nicholas Ambrose. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at White Chapel Cemetery, Gladstone, Missouri. The family will meet with friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 18, 2018, at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, Ottawa, KS.
