Obituary for Delores Marie Durham Crowe Delores Marie Durham Crowe, 81, of Johnson City, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Washington County, she is the daughter of the late William Lester Durham and Mary Nell (Ledford) Durham Rader. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Christine Durham White and Joyce Durham Ouzts.

Delores was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. She was of the Baptist faith. She began her career at National Life Insurance and retired from Watauga Orthopedic after twenty years.

Delores loved to travel and spending time with her family. Those left to cherish Delores’ memory include: children, Ronald Gene Crowe, Jr. and Sandra Delaine Crowe Ritchie Miles (Marty); brother, Bill Durham; grandson, Joshua Wayne Ritchie; great-granddaughter, Raven Elizabeth Ritchie; several nieces and nephews; and close friend Rick Ramsey. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses in the ICU at the JCMC, Karen, Courtney, and Taylor, and RN Brad Jeffers’ exceptional care keeping her comfortable in her last hours.

The family will gather to receive friends at Tetrick Funeral Services on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 1:00 PM until a Celebration of Delores’ Life beginning at 2:00 PM with Pastor Tim Broyles. A graveside service will be held at Monte Vista Memorial Park at 3:00 PM. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 2:50 PM.

Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. For those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Stroke Association, 9707 E. Easter Lane, Suite B, Centennial, CO 80112, www. stroke.org/donate, 1-800-787-6537.
