Obituary for Linda Sue Tipton Peregoy Arnett Linda Sue Tipton Peregoy Arnett, 71, Johnson City, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at her home. She is a native of Johnson City and daughter of the late Elmer and Gladys Olinger Tipton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, David Keith Day, Jr., her sister, Joann Higgins, brother, E.B. Tipton, nieces: Kim Phan, and Karen Smith; nephews: Terry Babb, and Lee Payne.

Linda attended Westminster Presbyterian Church, when her health allowed. She provided loving care and support to several people in the area, who thought of her as their own mother. Those left to cherish Linda’s memory include her children: Tammy Peregoy Byrd, Tabatha Peregoy Scott, and Travis Arnett; grandchildren: Michael, Casey, Cory, Sierra, Tiffany, and Chelsey; 6 great-grandchildren, her siblings: Patricia Barnes, Carolyn (Byrl) Clark, Barbara Madison, Danny (Pansy) Tipton, Mike (Teresa) Tipton; several nieces and nephews, and numerous special loving friends.

The family will greet friends to share memories on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services Johnson City. A Graveside service to honor Linda’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday at Washington County Memory Garden’s with Reverend Calvin Jett officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
