Obituary for Louise Heaton So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 Louise McKinney Heaton, born July 16, 1925 passed away Dec.

27, 2018 at Lakebridge Health Care Center, Johnson City, TN after a long battle with heart disease and dementia. Shortly after graduation from Cloudland High School she married the love of her life Harry E. Heaton and became a homemaker. She resided in Roan Mountain, TN until the death of her husband in 2007.

She resided in Johnson City, TN until her death. She was of the United Methodist faith and attended Roan Mountain UMC and Cherokee UMC. She loved to sing and continued to do so until her illness prevented it.

She was the daughter of the late Gurney Arthur McKinney and the late Flossie Graybeal McKinney. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son Joseph Heaton, siblings Delaney McKinney, Jack McKinney and Geraldine McKinney Watson and an infant sister, Elizabeth McKinney. She is survived by children, Patsy Heaton Barnett (Don) of Johnson City, TN; H. Randy Heaton of Roan Mountain, TN; daughter-in-law, Helen Talmadge of Rock Hill, SC; Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren, Aaron (Kelli) Barnett, Rachel Barnett, Sterling Heaton, Sarah Blalock (Patrick), Madison Heaton and Rachel Ramsey; great-grandchildren, Greer Barnett, Ella Rose Barnett and Haven Ramsey.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 1:30 pm at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton with the funeral to follow at 3:00 pm conducted by Reverend John Hitechew. Music will be provided by Glenda Gray and Renea Smith. A private burial for the family will follow at Calhoun Cemetery, Roan Mountain after the service.

Active pallbearers will be Bill Watson, Ron Anderson, Aaron Barnett, Greer Barnett, Sterling Heaton, Madison Heaton and Carroll Gray. Friends may call at the residence of her daughter at any time. The family would like to thank the staff of Lakebridge and Caris Hospice for their loving care during her illness.

A special thank you goes out to David, Jessi, Becky, Russell and her special friend Brenda Pless.
