Obituary for Kenneth Earl “Papaw Ken” Milhorn Sr. “Papaw Ken” Kenneth Earl Milhorn Sr., age 75, of Watauga, Tennessee passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018 at his residence. He was the son of the late Everett (Doodie) Johnson and Mary Ida Bell Leonard MIlhorn. He was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters.

Mr. Milhorn retired from S.B. White where he was employed for 52 years. He had a love for kids and was a collector of clocks & gadgets. He also loved to travel with his wife and was a dedicated member of Straightway Chapel.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 56 years; Linda Scalf Milhorn of the home, three daughters; Spring and Autumn Milhorn of the home. Diana Milhorn Garland & husband Larry Garland of Piney Flats,TN, three sons; Kenny Milhorn of Elizabethton,TN, Jeff Milhorn of Limestone, TN, Toot Milhorn & wife Holly Cline Milhorn of Watauga, TN , two daughters Della Milhorn Reynolds & husband Patton Reynolds of Abingdon, VA, Morgan Milhorn of Elizabethton, TN, twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren. A service to honor the life of Mr. MIlhorn will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Tetrick Funeral Home – Bluff City Chapel with Pastor Tony Cook officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. or at the residence at other times. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 24, 2018 at St. Paul Cemetery in Piney Flats. Active pallbearers will be the grandsons.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Morrison & David Higgins. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery Monday at 9:50 a.m. Online condolences may be shared with the family on our website, www. tetrickfuneralhome.com.
