Dennis’ Obituary Dennis Daniel Wagner, 70, of Fogelsville PA, passed away suddenly at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, on Monday, January 28, 2019. He was the loving husband of Lynda R. (Young) Wagner with whom he just celebrated 50 years of marriage in December 2018. Born in Allentown, Dennis was the son of the late Daniel and Lorraine Wagner.

After graduating from Catasauqua H.S. class of ’66, he served in the United States Army as a Finance Clerk in Fort Mcclellan Alabama from 1968-1970. Dennis was a successful entrepreneur as one of the founders of Wagner/Getz Collision Centers with his partner and best friend, Chris Getz. Dennis enjoyed an early retirement in 1997 and working around their estate and gardening as well as, listening to or playing music.

In 2005, his first grandson, Brayden was born and he realized his true calling as the world’s BEST Grandfather. In 2008, his second grandson, Kyler was born. Dennis’ grandsons were the light of his life and he created a life full of love and memories with them.

They will carry on his legacy. He was a passionate and talented musician and was a part of many band families throughout the years, most recently Schools Out Band. Known as the “ Funk-a-Saurus”, he was one, very talented bassist.

His passion was in every note that he played. Dennis greeted everyone with a smile and a laugh. He was beyond kind and giving to all he knew.

Dennis was an amazing and deeply loved Husband, Father and Friend. Dennis will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Dennis was a Gift of Life Donor.

Surviving with his Wife Lynda is Daughter Nicole (Wagner) Wistner, her husband, Ty; and grandchildren: Brayden and Kyler of Mertztown; Brother, Robert Wagner of Bath and David Wagner of Allentown. SERVICES: A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the services.

Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Hanover Twp. Contributions: In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Apraxia Kids Foundation c/o the funeral home.
