Linda’s Obituary Linda Jo (Mantz) Hallas, 68, of Stoney Ridge Road, Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Twp, died peacefully early Thursday morning, Jan 17, 2019, in her home. She was the wife of Gary M. Hallas since June 12, 1981. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Charles H. and Shirley L. (Evans) Mantz.

Linda was employed by the Palmerton Area School District as an elementary teacher for over 30 years. She was a 1968 graduate of the former Slatington High School, and a graduate of Kutztown University, Teaching Credentials. An avid golfer, she was a member of the former Blue Ridge Country Club, Palmerton.

Survivors: husband. sister, Candyce Merkle of Slatington. niece, Sara wife of Jamie Abraham of Slatedale.

nephews, Jacob Mankos, and Michael Mantz. She was predeceased by brother, Richard C. Mantz. Services: At the convenience of the family.
