John’s Obituary John J. Eisenmann, 83, of Lehighton, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at St. Luke’s Hospital – Monroe Campus, Stroudsburg. Born on December 7, 1935, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John and Clara (Jaeger) Eisenmann. He was a Highway Patrolman for the Philadelphia Police Department for many years, before retiring.

He served his country honorably in the US Navy and the US Marine Corps. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. John enjoyed buying and selling antiques and going to the gym.

Survivors: He is survived by son, John P. Eisenmann of Laurel Springs, NJ. Daughters, Carol Erdman of Greensboro, NC, and Beth Wilmont of Millsboro, DE. Sister, Anna Kuznick of Philadelphia.

Three grandchildren, and one great-grandson. He was predeceased by his grandson, John W. Eisenmann, and companion, Marie Vessels. Online condolences may be left for the family at: www.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fraternal Order of Police in care of the funeral home.
