Obituary for Dennis Hatchett Dennis A. Hatchett of Chandler, Indiana passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at his home. Dennis was born in Chandler, Indiana on May 11, 1947 to the late Carl and Ada (Fisher) Hatchett. He retired from the U. S. Marine Corps serving in Viet Nam.

He was a member of AmVets and enjoyed working in his yard. Surviving Dennis is a son and daughter, and two sisters, Shirley Burch of Chandler and Jacque Dishman of Newburgh, step mother, Ruby Hatchett, several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents, Teckla and George Hatchett, wife, Ruth Hatchett, brothers, Danny and Jerry Hatchett and sister, Diana Warren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street, Pastor Mike Claypool officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit from 9:00 A.M. until service time on Wednesday at Pierre Funeral Home.
