Dennis Lee “Kappy” Kaperak, 65, of Terre Haute passed away March 15, 2019. He was born December 2, 1953 to Frank P. Kaperak and Eleanor C. Nezgoda Kaperak. Dennis was a member of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

He worked and retired after 30 years as a pressman from Ivy Hill manufacturing. He loved golf, and played in several tournaments over the years. He was an avid sports fan, the Chicago Cubs and Bears were his teams.

He was very knowledgeable of sports players and teams. He loved to travel; some of his favorite trips were to Jamaica, and the Florida Keys because of the ocean and beaches. He loved to socialize with friends.

He always had a smile. He loved his family, and his fur babies (mini dachshunds). He also liked to grow his own food in the garden.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Frank Kaperak Jr He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Kaperak (m. 2001), sons, James Lee Kaperak, and William M. Boyer, daughters; Kalea Kaperak, and Jesi Kaperak Swaner (Mitchell), brothers; Joseph Kaperak (Linda), and Theodore Kaperak (Kay), sisters; Tina Kasdorf (Mike) and sister in law, Sheila Kaperak, nephew, Frank Kasdorf, niece, Audra Kasdorf, and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services for Dennis will be Tuesday March 26, 2019 at 1 pm in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. Visitation will be on Monday March 25, 2019 from 5 pm until 8 pm and on Tuesday 11 am until service time. Father Dan Bedel will officiate.
