Obituary for Dessie Mae Holt Funeral services for Dessie Mae Holt, age 78, of Oxford, will be Thursday, June 7, 2018, 11:00 AM in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 6 till 8 PM at the funeral home.

Ms. Holt passed away on Monday at Princeton Medical Center. Survivors include her sons; Wendell Cleveland, Wayne Holt (Kathy), sisters; LeMerle Murphy, Eunice Dover, Bessie Smith, grandchildren; Lauren Cleveland, Joseph Cleveland, Elijah Holt, Morgan Holt, great grandchildren; Violet Prather, Vera Prather, Arah Cleveland, several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.

Ms. Holt was a native of Randolph County. She was the manager for years at Golden Rule Bar B Q, and had lived in Oxford for the past 4o years and was known as a great musician throughout the years. Ms. Holt was preceded in death by her husband, Foy Joseph Cleveland, parents, James Martin and Arah Lee Lipham Williamson.
