Obituary for Joseph K Hughes A time of gathering for Mr. Joseph K. Hughes, 86, of Coldwater, will be on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Miller Funeral Home. Mr. Hughes passed away on July 11, 2018 at his home. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marie Hughes; daughter, Anita Hughes Collier; grandson, Martin Collier, and a host of cousins, singing family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Loey and Ruby Hughes; son, Jonathan Keith Hughes, and a son in law, Michael Collier. Mr. Hughes was a lifelong member of Coldwater Baptist Church. Since 7 years old, he has sang in many gospel groups and quartets.

Mr. Hughes was a Naval Veteran of the Korean War. He was an avid fisherman. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the College Fund set up for Martin Collier.
