Dessie Ree White January 19, 1926 – January 07, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Mrs. Dessie Ree Carter White, age 92, of Birmingham, AL died Monday, January 7, 2019 at UAB Hospital. She was a member of Northern Heights Baptist Church and most recently Alabaster Church of God. Mrs. White is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte (David) Smith; son and daughter-in-law, Charles F. (Sonya) White; daughter-in-law, Judy White; brothers, Roy Carter, James Carter and Robert Earl Carter; grandchildren, Chin White, Kenny White, Sue Song, Jae Ko and Elizabeth Bonner; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray S. White; sons, Johnny White and Ron White; parents, Johnny and Minnie Wright Carter; and sister Eloise Kelley. The family of Mrs. White will hold a private memorial service for her at a later date.
