Delores Griessel Hobbs Cole Hillstrom, 83, of Kansas City, KS, joyfully went home to her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 25, 2018. She was born to Marti and Dorothy (Mays) Griessel on May 22, 1935 and preceded in death by parents, husbands Robert “Vern” Hobbs, David Cole and James Hillstrom, brother Robert Griessel, and dear friend Byron Jones. Dolores, a 1953 graduate of North Kansas City High School, is survived by son, Robert V. (Susan) Hobbs, Jr. of Lebanon, MO, daughter, Debra Myers of KC, KS, brothers; Fred Griessel of St. Louis, MO and Donald (Maribeth) Griessel of KC, MO, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, KS 66210, Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, followed by funeral services at 2:00 pm. Graveside service for family will be at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ascend Hospice, 4550 W 109th St, Overland Park, KS 66207.
