Alan Edward Graham, age 71, of Overland Park, Kansas, succumbed to cancer in the comfort of his home on Sunday, November 11th, surrounded by his family. Born June 17th, 1947, in Fall River, Massachusetts, he was the second of four children to William and Florence Graham (nee Howarth). After graduating from the University of Massachusetts, Alan met the love of his life, the late Janet Graham (nee Fletcher), whom he married in June of 1975.

After starting his own successful computer consulting company, Alan was blessed with his only child, Amanda, in 1980. Alan loved the outdoors and traveling; especially when those travels took him fishing, skiing, swimming in the ocean, or ice skating. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Brierly Dresie and her husband Jared, of Olathe, his two brothers, Bill and Donald Graham, and his sister Debbie, as well as his three grandchildren; Madalin, Annabel, and Charlie Dresie, along with many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Florence, and his wife Janet Graham earlier this year. A celebration of his life will be held from 5-7:30pm Saturday, November 17th, at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210. Family remembrances will be shared at 7:00pm.
