Hartselle Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Don “Boss” Garner, 75, will be Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Herring Cemetery with Bro. Joe David Bailey and Bro. Jack Bailey officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Mr. Garner died on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born October 22, 1942, in Morgan County to James Leonard Garner and Velma Inez Breedlove Garner.

He was employed by the City of Decatur at the Waste Treatment Facility prior to his retirement. He was an avid fisherman and a farmer and loved to garden. Don was a gentle man and loved children.

He was a longtime resident of Hartselle and the Neel Community. He was preceded in death by his parents, and four brothers: Frank, Gary, Larry and Rickey Garner and his best friend and fishing buddy: Jack Napier. Survivors include : his Wife, Jannice Lake Garner One Daughter: Donna Garner Screws One Brother: Tommy Garner (Sandra) One Sister: Shirley Garner Hale Two Grandchildren: Alex Garner Austin Screws Three Sisters-in-law: Jean Garner, Jan Garner and Kathy Garner One Brother-in-law: Richard Hale Pallbearers will be Family & Friends.
