Donald A. “Don” Raymond, 82, of Cogan Station, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018, at Manor Care Health Services, Jersey Shore. Surviving is his wife of 28 years, Anette Sue (Phillips) Raymond.

Born Aug. 10, 1936, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late George A. Raymond Sr. and Sarah M. (Fox) Raymond. Don was a graduate of Montoursville High School.

He was owner and operator of Raymond Enterprises. He also was a truck driver for Canada Dry and was employed with Updegraff Trucking until his retirement. He attended Calvary Baptist Church.

Don spent most of his time outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating and enjoyed traveling, especially to Canada. He also was a very talented guitar player. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Randall H. Raymond, of Williamsport; four grandchildren, Randall and Eric Dauber, Dalton Raymond and Tristan Outsen, all of Williamsport; six great-grandchildren; and four stepchildren, Raymond M. Schlibener (Christine), of Lock Haven, Martha L. Miller, of Cogan Station, Bonna J. Ward (Dalton), of Rote, and April S. McHenry, of Jersey Shore.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, George A. Raymond, Jr. A graveside service to honor the life of Don will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, in Montoursville Cemetery.
