Capitola “Cappie” Graham Keller, 98, formerly of Glenwood Ave. Williamsport died Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Rose View Center where she resided since 2011. Born February 6, 1920 in Gadsden, Alabama she was the eldest child of the late Hoyt and Vindia Richey Graham.

Cappie graduated in 1939 from Geraldine High School, Geraldine, AL. She served her country proudly in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. Cappie was an expert seamstress and tailor and a licensed beautician.

Surviving are her children; Charles W. (Jill) Keller, Jr. of Williamsport and Peggy L. (Frank) Novaleski of Harrisburg; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a sister Nathalene Guest of Montgomery, AL and son-in-law, Morgan Smith of Benson, NC. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Marie Keller; brothers, Charles Graham, Samuel Graham, Johnnie Graham; sisters, Della Stevens and Mary Leak and her former husband, Charles W. Keller. A graveside service to honor the life of Cappie will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Twin Hills Memorial Park, 3332 Lycoming Mall Drive, Muncy.

Memorial contributions in Cappie’s name may be made to the Glaucoma Research Foundation, 251 Post Street, Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94108. Arrangements entrusted to Sanders Mortuary.
